Carrier frequency offsets problem in recent DST‐SC‐FDMA system: Investigation and compensation

Carrier frequency offset (CFO) is a challenging problem in the uplink of single-carrier division multiple access (SC-FDMA) system. CFOs effect on orthogonality between subcarriers and cause inter-carrier interference (ICI) (MAI). This paper, analyzes impact performance Discrete Sine Transform (DST) SC-FDMA (DST-SC-FDMA) system investigates with different wireless channels, modulation schemes mapping schemes. Furthermore, an efficient equalization compensation scheme proposed to enhance DST- transmit images efficiently over The combines minimum mean square error (MMSE) equalizer parallel cancellation (PIC). combined method referred as MMSE+PIC. results show that degrades DST-FDMA performance. obtained noticeable improvement MMSE-PIC conventional MMSE equalizer.
